My path to becoming a counsellor has been shaped by my own life experiences. I grew up in a family where substance use and verbal abuse were present, and as I moved between cities and eventually across countries, I searched for a sense of belonging and purpose. I explored different careers, but nothing felt right. For years I lived disconnected from my body, until becoming a yoga teacher helped me rediscover awareness and grounding. Later, grief, anxiety, and panic attacks made it impossible to continue in my corporate work, and through these struggles I came to understand the importance of healing, resilience, and compassion
