Supervision Groups

A PRACTICE THAT MATTERS
Laura Bradley’s Clinical Supervision

“Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.” – Ryunosuke Satoro

ACCT – Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada

Laura Bradley is currently facilitating 3 supervision groups.

Laura Bradley has been in the counselling profession since 1993 and in private practice since 2005. She has completed Counselling training in Transpersonal Psychology from Clearmind International Institute. Since then Laura has studied a variety of attachment and relational modalities focusing on couples, individuals, complex trauma, grief, depression and anxiety. Her training includes Emotionally focused therapy (EFT), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), and NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM).

She has completed all three levels of Competency based Framework for Effective Supervision Practice. She has more than 10 years experience as a supervision counsellor,  is qualified to teach the first level of supervision training and formally provides individual, dyadic, and group supervision, working from a competency-based framework with new and existing counsellors in the field.

Laura has 30 years experience in the field of counselling and group facilitation, and is a Registered Counselling Supervisor and a Master Therapeutic Counsellor with ACCT. She founded her practice group in 2005 based on her desire to help her clients and her passion for training and developing counsellors. She truly believes that each counsellor comes into supervision with their own knowing and expertise. She works collaboratively to support counsellors to tap into their knowledge and provides practical tools based on her years of counselling and supervision experience.

Laura has found group supervision to be an integral part of being a healthy therapist. Putting time aside to reflect and share her thoughts and feelings with a group of peers continues to be a place of growth and self care for her as a professional counsellor.

Laura Bradley coaches a variety of psychotherapists, counsellors and psychologists on how to create a healthy, private practice business. Laura has dual assets in people/therapeutic skills matched with a business background. With these skills, Laura has created a successful private practice. Steadfast Counselling is a place where relationships matter. Laura and her team of counsellors are passionate about helping people be fully engaged in their lives and their relationships. Evidence of Laura’s success can be found in her long-term alliances with companies and a long list of happy clients that refer their families and friends to her.

What Counsellors Say

“When I entered private practice, Laura was the first person I contacted for supervision. Laura always asks great questions that support me to be in the best position to support my clients. I know that Laura will be mindful of considering my ethical and legal responsibilities, as well my therapeutic goals. She offers a great perspective and real ability to help me move forward with clients I am feeling stuck or unsure of. Each time I complete a supervision session with Laura I feel re-inspired; whether to try something I hadn’t considered before or to relax in knowing that I am on track. She makes private practice less scary.” – C.B.
