Nate Torjhelm, Sr. Associate Counsellor

Location:
Langley
Nate works with individuals and couples to help unlock those stuck places that may leave them running the same old patterns over and over again. He’s here to support you and to help you uncover solutions that, although they might feel hidden, truly do exist within you. The key often lies in how we view the problem. Often our patterns of thought and behavior are so ingrained that without awareness, we are unable to see new options. As our awareness increases, we become more capable of seeing and choosing a new perspective, one that works for us, not against us.

Ross Dixon, Associate Counsellor
Not Accepting New Clients
Session Type:
Online or By Phone
Ross has a strong basis in family systems theory which holds that we are shaped by our own unique family system, meaning that how we operate in the world is a product of our system. As we look at the whole system as an emotional unit we begin to understand ourselves more fully. He also uses techniques from gestalt therapy that focuses on what we are feeling in the present moment to identify solutions to a variety of struggles. This technique, through active expression of unresolved anger, anxieties, sadness and other feelings can bring awareness to how our own thought patterns, based on past experiences, affect us in the present moment. Clients can expect to be heard with compassion in sessions and offered the opportunity for full emotional expression with care.
